He holds a BSc and MBA in Supply Chain Management from the USA, a PGD from IBA, Dhaka University, and training from the US Army ROTC.
Specializing in inventory planning, procurement, logistics, and strategic operations, he is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and PMP. Mr. Khan has a proven track record of streamlining processes, cutting costs, and enhancing supply chain performance.

Shahbaz Khan is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in Shipping & Logistics, Garments Buying, and International Trading. During his 4-year stay in Malaysia, he co-founded Pilar Ventures in partnership with experts from MNCs like Nestlé, offering training and consultancy in Supply Chain, Leadership, and Organizational Efficiency.
His global exposure—living and working across various countries—has given him rich insights into diverse cultures, races, and ethnicities. Known for his strategic mindset, calm leadership, and strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, Shahbaz excels in adapting to change and driving impactful results.
With over 40 years of global experience in supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing, Ariffin Buranudeen has held key leadership roles, including Supply Chain Director at Nestlé. He holds degrees from CIT-UK, Cranfield (MSc), and executive training from IMD Lausanne.
After retiring from Nestlé in 2011, Ariffin focused on coaching and leadership development, leading projects at Cold Chain Network, CSR’s War on Waste, and as CEO of The Lost Food Project, Malaysia’s leading food bank. He now serves as Executive Coach & L&D Lead at Al-Ikhsan, Malaysia’s largest sports retailer.
He is a Certified Professional Coach, HRDC trainer, DISC Flow Practitioner, and Law of Attraction Trainer, known for his practical, empathetic coaching style.
Beyond his professional work, Ariffin is active in community volunteering, mentorship, and industry initiatives like ISO standard development and SAP rollouts. He’s passionate about helping individuals and organizations grow with purpose.
